Module 1: ArcGIS Pro Overview - Orientation

This week's lab assignment saw us appropriately locating files in an organized manner in our drives and file databases to keep our mapmaking process streamlined. In this map, we visualized countries with their cities over a basemap to show the relative distribution around the world. We then symbolized these datasets with cities representing black dots and countries as various shades of green. We symbolized countries according to the number of cities represented within them with a gradient color scale broken up into seven classes using a gradient color scheme. The darker the shade of green, the more cities were contained within and vice-versa. Using one of the terms we learned about, this map extent shows all the active data within the map being visualized.
